Plasma coating

2PS – Projection Plasma Système – is a plasma coating specialist for medical devices and orthopaedic implants.

For 30 years, the company has put its know-how and technology at the service of medical applications, producing biocompatible and osteoconductive coatings of titanium, hydroxyapatite (HAP) and alumina.

2PS can make plasma coatings on any types of orthopedic implants (hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, finger, etc …) whatever their substrate (Ta6V, CrCo, Stainless steel, etc …)

Cleaning

2PS is equipped with an inlet cleaning chain and has a pulsed light decontamination system on the 2PS BioFlash® for outlet cleaning.

Packaging

The packaging of orthopaedic implants is proceed into an ISO 7 clean room under ISO 5 laminar flow.

Company historical

2PS is a family SMB, created in 1988, located in Occitania, in the south of France, near Toulouse.

Taken over in 2012, 2PS remains a family company, independent from any group.

An ambitious investment program was launched 6 years ago, which has led to the establishment of a clean room and the installation of production robots.

This program is supported by the Occitania Region, the FEDER fund and BPI France.

2PS has been BPI Excellence since 2015.

On a surface of 1500m2, 2PS owns modern and innovative production means.

Ces installations sont qualifiées QI, Q0, QP, selon les bonnes pratiques de fabrication pour permettre de garantir à nos clients une qualité conforme aux exigences de l’ISO 13485.
